Suburban Lockdown

Punk's Dead! So what? They've heard it before and they don't care. What's trendy, what's fashionable? Not them. SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN formed because they love music. This is who they are and they will not apologize. Various members of SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN have been playing in punk rock and hardcore bands since 1982 (AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, ADVENTURES IN IMMORTALITY, ANOTHER ROUND, THE HARP PROJECT and DESTINATION DAYBREAK). These guys have logged some serious playing, recording and touring time.

Formed in 2002 in Orlando, Florida, SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN has set the south ablaze distinguishing themselves as one of the hardest playing live acts in the country. Influenced by everything from late 70's New York rock-n-roll, British punk, Oi! and American hardcore. SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN lights the fuse and stands still. The songs are short, sharp shocks of speed, aggression and melody centered on themes of working class frustration, everyday life and rock-n-roll mayhem. Yeah, punk's dead... Just try to bury SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN.

Suburban Lockdown has been on various compilations. Their first full length release "Locked In" was released on Canada's Steel Cap Records. Their first release on Durty Mick Records was a 7" split with Foreign Legion, followed by the second full length release "Laid To Waste". Recently SUBURBAN LOCKDOWN teamed up with UK legends BEERZONE for a 10 track CD/10" EP "Kingdom of the Dead."
